The person that creates a group of family and/or friends, called a "Family" in TightKnit", is automatically the administrator of that Family. Administrators have the following privileges:

  • They are the only person who can invite a new member.
  • They are the only person who can change the family name.

The Family Administrator plays a significant role in that they not only create a family that has a specific purpose, but have the responsibility of retaining that purpose so members always know "who is at their table" and can view the conversations and photos they have shared.
